Residents living in Sebira Island, Harapan Island Urban Village, North Seribu Islands are requesting a direct transportation service to the land.
"The important thing is transportation service to the land, either once a week or twice a week. Thus our island can be more lively," expressed Muhammad Ali, Chairman of Harapan Island LMK, during a work visit of Seribu Islands Vice Regent, Ismer Harahab, in Sebira Island, Wednesday (1/25).
Sebira Island Pier Needs ImprovementResponding on public request, Seribu Islands Vice Regent, Ismer Harahab disclosed has coordinated with the ministry about operational of Roro KM Kundur Ferry. Yet, service towards Sebira Island still has the infrastructure constraints.
"The problem lies in the pier, must be repaired, deepened and widened. But we'll do it this year," he finished.
